A few weeks ahead is usually enough, though sunset slots in peak season can fill up faster.
How long does a typical session take?
Most sessions run 45 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on the type of shoot and number of locations.
Can you photograph at our hotel instead of the beach?
Yes — many resorts have great settings for portraits; just let us know where you're staying.
Beach & sunset sessions
The classic choice, and for good reason — soft light, calm water and a backdrop that needs no extra styling. Best booked for early morning or the last hour before sunset.
On the water
A catamaran or boat session gives a completely different set of shots — open water, the lagoon from a new angle, and none of the beach crowds to work around.
Port Louis & architecture
For a change from the beach, the capital's older streets and colonial buildings give portraits a completely different, more urban feel.
