Pickup, delivery and returns
We try to make both ends painless, whether you are landing at midnight or heading out after breakfast.
- Airport pickups: 24 hours a day.
- Hotel delivery: 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.
- Sundays and public holidays: we are fully operational.
- Returns: at the airport or your hotel, with a quick handover.
- Fuel: fuel-to-fuel, so bring it back with the level you started with.
Driving in Mauritius: what to know
A few local habits save a lot of stress in your first hour behind the wheel.
- Drive on the left, and take roundabouts clockwise.
- Bring your driving licence. If it is not in English or French, bring an International Driving Permit too.
- Scooters and pedestrians share village roads, so slow down through towns.
- Parking in Port Louis is easier at the Caudan Waterfront or in a paid car park than on the street.
- Phone signal is good along the coast; download an offline map for the mountains.

Yes. The minimum age is shown on each car in the fleet above, and we will confirm it again when we confirm your booking.
Is there a mileage limit?
No. Mileage is unlimited, so you can cross the island as often as you like.
Is a deposit needed?
A refundable deposit is normal for car rental. We confirm the amount and terms with your booking.
Can I add a child seat?
Yes, tell us the ages of your children and we will arrange the right seat.
Can I return the car somewhere else?
Return at the airport or your hotel. If you need a different point, just ask.
