Cookies Policy
Last updated: 27 October 2026
This Cookies Policy explains how Plan Mauritius, operated by Bluestone Travels LLP (“we”, “us” or “our”), uses cookies and similar technologies on planmauritius.com. Please read it together with our Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. They let the website remember things such as whether you are signed in, which currency you chose, or what you added to your trip plan. Some features also use your browser’s local storage, which works in a similar way. In this policy we call all of these “cookies”.
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use our website, for example which pages are most popular, how long visits last and which country visitors come from. This helps us improve the website. Google Analytics uses cookies such as _ga and _ga_*, which last up to 2 years. The information is collected in a way that does not identify you personally, and we do not use it for advertising.
If you are in Europe, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, these analytics cookies are only set after you click Accept on our cookie notice. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser’s cookies and site data for planmauritius.com. You can also install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
We also use Microsoft Clarity to see, in an anonymous way, how visitors move around our pages (clicks, scrolling and heatmaps), so we can fix anything that is confusing. Clarity hides what you type into forms. It uses cookies such as _clck and _clsk, which last up to 1 year. See the Microsoft privacy statement.
We do not sell cookie information and we do not use advertising cookies.
Cookies we use
1. Essential cookies – needed for the website to work. They cannot be switched off in our systems.
- wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wordpress_test_cookie – keep you signed in to your account and protect your session. They last until you sign out, or up to 14 days if you choose “Remember me”.
- pm_ev – remembers that you verified your email address with a one-time code, so we do not ask for a new code on every enquiry. It lasts 24 hours.
- wp_woocommerce_session_*, woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart – remember your booking basket while you browse. They last up to 2 days.
- _lscache_vary – used by our caching system to show you the correct version of a page (for example when you are signed in). It ends when you close your browser or sign out.
2. Preference cookies – remember the choices you make.
- togo_selected_currency – remembers the currency you chose for prices (for example INR or USD).
- googtrans – set only if you use the language switcher, to show the website in the language you picked. It is set by the Google Translate service.
- togo_inquiry_cart (local storage) – remembers the tours, hotels and activities you added to your trip plan, so they are still there when you come back. It stays until you send your enquiry or clear your browser data.
3. Third-party cookies – set by other services whose content appears on our pages.
- Vimeo – some pages show videos hosted by Vimeo. Vimeo may set cookies when you play a video. See the Vimeo cookie policy.
- Google – our language switcher uses Google Translate, and our fonts load from Google Fonts. See the Google cookie policy.
- WhatsApp – if you click a WhatsApp button, you leave our website and WhatsApp’s own policies apply.
Emails and your saved trip plans
If you give us your email address while planning a trip, we may save your unfinished plan and send you one reminder email with a link to continue it. Every email has a link to stop these reminders. Offer emails (such as Christmas, New Year and birthday wishes) are only sent if you tick the box to agree, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email.
How to control or delete cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Most browsers also let you browse in a private window, which deletes cookies when you close it. Please note that if you block essential cookies, you may not be able to sign in, verify your email or send an enquiry.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time, for example if we add a new service to our website. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
